The Ottawa County Economic Development Office can provide a number of services concerning the preparation of public infrastructure grants and tax abatement applications for industrial development projects:

• On your behalf, OCEDO will prepare applications for all eligible grants and tax abatements which can benefit your firm's new location/expansion in Ottawa County, including the following:

Community Development Block Grants (CDBG)-Public Utilities

MDOT, Economic Development Fund (EDF) Category A Grants-Public Roads

P.A. 198 Industrial Facilities Tax Abatements-Private Real & Personal Property \

• Assist in the ongoing administration of awarded grants and tax abatements through the preparation of progress reports, payment requests, and participation in monitoring reviews and surveys. Prepare applications for foundation grants.
